ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Overview ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
OS/2-litaire is a game for the OS/2 operating system (version 2.0 or later).
It's based on the popular board game "solitaire".
OS/2-litaire contains 10 different boards.
The object of the game is to jump over each ball, removing the one jumped over,
until there is only a single ball remaining at the end. The last ball must be
placed on to succesfully complete the game.

ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Playing the Game ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
o Move the mouse pointer to a ball you want to move.
o Make a jump by moving the ball to an empty position. The ball that was jumped
over will be removed automatically.
o Continue until you've solved the game (=until you end up with only one ball
placed in the middle of the board).
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Rules of the Game ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The rules of OS/2-litaire are really quite simple:
o Jump over each ball.
o Remove the one jumped over. This will be made automatically for you.
o Continue until only one ball is left at .
The rules for jumping are:
o A jump can only be made to an empty position 2 squares away.
o There has to be a ball between the start and the end of the jump.
o Jumps can only be made horizontally and vertically, not diagonally.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 4. Scoring ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The fewer balls you have left when the game is over, the better. To get
complete success, you have to get only one ball left at .
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 5. Strategy and Hints ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Try to keep the balls as close to each other as you can. It's almost impossible
to "save" balls that have been left alone.
Use undo if you get into trouble.
You can customize the background color by using drag-and-drop from the color
palette.
